Astra Folk Group will be on the move again, this time to Siofok Hungary close to Budapest. They will be departing on April 30th and returning back on May 9th.
Accompanying the Astra Folk Group will be Mr. Tonio Schembri, who will be taking photos and documenting their performances and outings during the Hungary trip. Mr. Schembri has put up a blog that will enable us to follow all the happenings.
We at Friends Of La Stella Canada wish to congratulate the Astra Folk Group, especially Mr. Anthony Zammit (Artistic Director), Mr. George Farrugia (Costume/Wardrobe) and Mr. Tonio Schembri (Photographer) for making us all proud of our Maltese culture and for being once again great ambassadors to our Maltese islands .
